Performance Workshops

Hands-on theatre activity to develop the talents present.

Description:- Intrinsically participation enorientated.
We use Improvisation, Theatre, Slap-Stick, Performance and Circus Skills
for the "personal development" of each paricipant.

The course builds on it's self and at end a solo, double or group act
can be performed which has been devised by the participant/s.
After completion each participant should be able to perform in their own right.
A usual workshops includes:- Circus Skills (see circus workshops below), Clown, Mime, Improvisation,
Stage Craft, Expressions, Story Devising and Performance Skills.

Aim:-

Our aim is for personal gain of each participant and to develop their skills of
acting, performing, circus and an awareness to all that is around them.

Use:- Managerial training, confidience building, stress relief etc.
The performances/stories can also be used to address specific situations or relevent issues
ie. dealing with pressure, isolation, drugs etc. or as a tool to analyse various circumstances.
Can be used in conjunction with Lectures.

Usual venues:-

Training Schools, Management, Colleges, Schools, Youth Groups, Community Centres,
Art Centres, Leisure Centres, Drop-in Centres, Youth Leaders, Group Leaders etc.

Durations:- This is a "set" workshop and can take place:-
a. at the same time each week for a set number of weeks
b. be a singular day of training
c. continue for a whole week.

Changes and Alterations:- The content or direction of this course can address particular aspects of life
eg. in Management how to "perform" a seminar
or building social "structure" in inner cities addressing relevant issues.
